Mae Klang Waterfall

          Mae Klang Waterfall is a big waterfall with water flowing throughout the whole year. Many big swimming pools can be found in. But the stream is so strong during the rainy season that it can be dangerous to swim. Mae Klang Waterfall is in the east of the national park. Visitors can travel From Chom Thong-Doi Inthanon Road, about km 8 before reaching the national park checkpoint. Then turn left for about 1 kilometer to reach Mae Klang Waterfall. You can walk along the walking path to the visitor center. Which is located approximately 400 meters from Mae Klang Waterfall, through the weir mine and Pha Khanna paintings.

Mae Ya Waterfall

         Mae Ya Waterfall is a big waterfall in the south of the National Park.Mae Ya creek originated flows down 30 levels, a total of about 260 meters above sea level, and is reported to be the country’s most lovely waterfall. The waterfall stretches for 100 meters during the rainy season. The water quantity may decrease in the dry season. But the cascade is clearer. Mae Ya Waterfall is located in the southern part of the national park area. When entering Chom Thong – Yod Doi Inthanon Road for about 1 kilometer, there will be a left turn for about 14 kilometers.

Wang Kuai Waterfall

          Wang Kwai Waterfall is a favorite waterfall for tourists to play with their children. The elegant water flows through a big stone courtyard and meanders. The fine seeded sand of the cascade. The Wang Kwai Waterfall can be reached by visitors from Chiang Mai City, about 67.7 kilometres. Drive along Chiang Mai Road to Chom Thong Market. Then take a right onto Chom Thong – Inthanon Road, about 9.7 km away.
Facilities
         There is a large parking lot adjacent to the road that is paved. There can be about thirty cars parked. There’s a lot of restaurant services like grilled chicken Sticky rice, papaya salad and so on. The toilets in the visitor center near the cascade can be used to tourists.

Wachirathan Waterfall

          The Wachirathan Waterfall was later renamed after the royal title of King Rama 10, formerly known as “Tad Kong Yong.” It is a large, about 70-80 meter high waterfall from Mae Klang Creek. The cascade is 750 meters high. From the cliff the river falls into the bottom basin. Water runs throughout the year. A lovely rainbow is shown over the stream in the sun light when the water droplets hit. On the other side of the cliff is “Pha Mon Kaew” or “Pha Wan Kaew,” a steep cliff. The waterfall is located 81,2 kilometers from the District of Mueang Chiang Mai, at km 20,7 of Highway 1009 with a right turn. Drive along a winding road to Wachirathan Waterfall for approximately 250 metres.

Facilities
          The visitors can be served in restaurants/shops. Access conditions are steep, the road surface rough, and caution only allows access to personal cars and motorcycles. A crushed patio is the parking lot. There can be some 50 cars parked. The cleaning rest room separates the toilets for men and women.

Sirithan Waterfall

          This waterfall originally came from the Mae Klang River to be called the “Pa Kha Waterfall.” In the Chom Thong District of Chiang Mai Province, Doi Inthanon River flows to the Mae Ping River. The Queen visited the waterfall on 28 March 2002 and called “Sirithan Waterfall”  It is about 22 km from this waterfall. It is a very beautiful waterfall that runs from a large rock cliff about 50 meters high from the base, into two levels. A lot of water and a large flow are available all year long. The waterfall’s sound can be heard from afar. It is about 870 meters high above sea level. On March 28, B.E. 2002, the waterfall was open to tourist. The waterfall is one of the major sights for Thai and foreign tourists to visit a lot to discover the beauty of the waterfall from a large cliff of rock.
           The Mae Klang River Basin and Chom Thong district are also beneficial to the people. People consume water and farming, and many aquatic animals such as frogs, tadpoles, many fish species and rare fish, such as bat fish, also have habitat for them. The scientific name for Batfish in honor of Thailand is Oreoglanis siamensis. The forest is a mixed feeding forest with dry evergreen forest. The pine, teng, nest, scaly, resin, and several orchid species, etc., with high biodiversity are important vegetations. It is a major source of food, such as wild figs, wild bananas, bamboo shoots, rattan shoots, eggplants, Centella asiatica leaves, vegetables, sweet vegetables. They provide a source of wildlife. Moreover, there are numerous food worms, such as bamboo worms, silk worms, spiders, spids, crickets, spiders and spiders as well as an important source of medicinal herbs.

Siribhom Waterfall

          Siriphum Waterfall is a 2 river waterfall flowing along a very beautiful long distance from a steep cliff. It can be seen at a distance of about 31 kilometers from Ban Khun Klang on Highway 1009. Tourists must pass the flower garden of the Royal Inthanon project, established to support hilly tribe people, for approximately 1 kilometer. These waterfalls run down a beautiful long path, formerly called Lao Lue by the name of the village Hmong which lived in the vicinity of the waterfall, through the steep cliffs. The Inthanon Royal Project Development Center is under operation, subsequently renamed according to the royal name of the Thai dynasty, presenting Siriphum Waterfall landscaping Suan Luang Siriphum.

          The Waterfall of Siriphum The Highway 108 (Chiang Mai road), located 91.5 km from Mueang Chiang Mai District, is about 58 km long, turn right on Highway No. 1009 (Chomthong road, Doi Inthanon), approx. 31.5 km.

          There are 20 personal cars on the paved parking lot and 4 bathrooms with cleaning service.

Mae Pan Waterfall

          The deep nature of the great forest, rich in plants of many kinds. The river flows into the mountains and is surrounded with lush forests for visitors up to 4 floors. The waterfall is over 100 meters high and from a distant point of view it is visible. Remove from the Mae Pan Waterfall National Park or walk along the Mae Pan Waterfall (Pha Samran Nature Trail), about 400 meters away from the area.

Travel
          It is situated about 105.5 kilometers away from Chiang Mai on Highway 108 (Chiang Mai) road. Turn left onto highway No. 1009 (Chomthong Road, Doi Inthanon) for approximately 39 kilometers and there is a connection to Mae Chaem District. Mae Pan Waterfall is about 58 kilometers away. Mae Chaem for approximately 6.5 km and turn left for Doi Inthanon, then go right to Huai Sai Lueang Waterfall for around 2 kilometers. It could be a bit difficult to get to Mae Pan Waterfall. Parking on the Huai Sai Lueang Waterfall is required for visitors. Then walk 10 minutes to get there.

Hua Sai Loung Waterfall

Travel
          Waterfall Hua Sai Loung is locating 105.5 kilometers away from Mueang Chiang Mai District along Chiang Mai Road, about 39 kilometers along Chiang Mai Road. Turn right on Highway No1009 (Chomthong Road, Doi Inthanon). The link to Mae Chaem district is approximately 6.5 kilometers, then turn left on the road to Doi Inthanon from Mae Chaem. Take the protection unit right then. Mae Pan Waterfall national park and Hua Sai Loung Waterfall are approximately 2 km.
Facilities
          There is a permanent camp building to study nature for groups. There may be a special lecture for 80 or 100 people. Nature Study Group activities and attendance at an environmental study camp from 6.00 to 9.00 p.m. daily.
