Mr. Sompol Triphopnat, managing director of MBK Public Company Limited’s shopping centre business, stated that in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, MBK shopping malls and Paradise Park are concerned about the people who have been impacted. They must assist shop owners in generating income, assist clients in saving money, understand the value of their purchases, and reduce the burden of living expenditures. In addition, the government has my full support in its attempts to repair the economy and increase consumption. Most recently, it took part in the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2021 promotion, which aided the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) by increasing economic circulation and promoting domestic spending. Every year, MBK shopping complexes engage in the campaign. It will be held this year from July 15 to September 15, 2021.

The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2021 initiative is set to take place between 15 July and 15 September 2021 for two months under the theme “AMAZING MORE” in order to boost spending by both Thai and foreign tourists. It can help to promote Thailand’s image as a shopping destination, including assisting entrepreneurs in all sectors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic by offering discounted products in fashion, sports, electrical appliances, electronic equipment, home furnishings, baby items, food, hotels, spas, and travel services. In addition, customers will receive gifts and other benefits. In collaboration with department stores/shopping centres, credit cards, airlines, hotels, restaurants, a health centre, a beauty salon, and an online shopping platform, we hope to wow travellers and create a range of shopping experiences both online and on-site.

TAT has asked enterprises from around the country to participate in the project this year. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Songkhla (Hat Yai), Chonburi (Pattaya), and Nakhon Ratchasima are among the major tourist cities with operators. During a two-month period, more than 10,000 people participated in the programme, which provided extra benefits to travellers. Furthermore, they cooperated with well-known online platform partners to develop promotional activities throughout this specific time period. To encourage travellers to purchase in a more enjoyable, diverse, and cost-effective manner than ever before. The TAT anticipates that the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2021 project will encourage tourists to travel and spend. To support entrepreneurs in operating their firms during the recovery and to produce working capital in the country’s general economy.
