Timings & Directions

Walking Street is, in fact, a continuation of Pattaya Beach Road. While the main tarmac-paved highway bears left to become South Pattaya Road (Pattaya Tai), vehicles may continue into the brick-paved Walking Street between approximately 02:00 and 18:00. At the end of the one-way road, you’ll discover Bali Hai Pier and the renowned Pattaya City sign, as well as the southernmost terminus of Pattaya Third Road, which leads back into the city.

From 7:00 pm until 3:00 am, the street is restricted to vehicular traffic. By 8:00 pm, the majority of establishments are open, however there is little activity until 10:00 pm. Around 12 a.m., Walking Street Pattaya comes alive. Walking Street is approximately 1.2 miles from Central Pattaya (2 km). To get here, walk along the beach or hop on a communal open-air tuk-tuk (songthaew) that circles the city.
