Tham Phra Waterfall, Bueng Kan, Thailand


        Tham Bang Phra is a stone cliff that is 100 metres broad and 50 metres high. Tourists must park their vehicles and proceed to the waterfall by boat which provided by the community. Continue walking for another 200 metres to reach the waterfall. Tham Phra Waterfall is located in Baan Non Somboon, which is 34 kilometers from Se Ka District. The tranquil Phu Tham Phra Monastery can be found nearby. At the back of the stone yard, there is a 200 km2 pan-shaped valley with water falling to the bottom at a 100-meter-wide cliff. Swimming is permitted during the rainy season. Huai Bung Bat is the source of this 50-meter-high waterfall.

Tham Phra Waterfall

Tham Phra Waterfall is broken into three parts:

            The first waterfall can be found below. It appears that a flowing waterfall lowers into the bottom of the pan with deep water, which is suited for individuals who can swim and attracts a large number of tourists. Teenagers, in particular, enjoy jumping in the water and having a good time.

            The middle of the waterfall (climb up from the first section) appears to be a network of streams. Although there is a powerful torrent, the water is shallow. Many people visit this spot to swim and play in the water. Many visitors, including small children, older children, teenagers, and some adults, enjoy fun slides along the canals and currents. as well as a humorous whistling sound. On one side of the waterfall in the middle, there is a cliff. Two Buddha figures fashioned by folk art are enshrined along the cliff.             Then, above the weir, there will be a staircase going up to the highlight of Tham Phra Waterfall. How to travel

                There will be a boat service available for visitors to Tham Phra Waterfall. It will be a massive iron vessel. And will be running around all day picking up passengers. The cost each individual is merely 20 baht. The boat ride to the waterfall’s entrance takes around 10 minutes. We’ll go another 500 metres when we reach to visit this water park in the middle of the forest. Tham Phra Waterfall provides plenty of water all year. Only in March and April is there less water.
